With a toolmaking background stretching all the way back to the summer of 1979, Harvey Precision Tools was founded 20 years later and opened for business on April 12th, 1999. From the very start, and now with over 100 years combined experience, we have been involved in a wide variety of interesting and challenging projects with customers ranging from new start-ups to blue chip PLC’s such as Sony, Renthal, Ford, Rexel, Honda, JLR, MIRA, Pall Medical, Renishaw and many more.
Our business continues to evolve.
As our business has grown over the years, the technical components we have undertaken have been getting smaller and smaller.
In some cases the parts have been so small that they fall outside the envelope for standard available components, such as core pins and ejector pins, meaning that we have developed methods of producing these unobtainable components in house. Alongside this, we have also developed our own processes of high accuracy micro machining and Electro Discharge Machining (EDM) for features as small as 0.20mm.
Through word of mouth alone, we have built a reputation that has allowed us to work in a range of industries including microelectronics, fibre optics, motorsport, aerospace, automotive, agriculture, renewable energy, telecoms, medical and pioneering medical research with international universities, to name but a few.
With an eye to the future we have also undertaken the successful training of our own award winning apprentices, which is something we are very proud of.

Because of our total confidence in all of our Tool Design and Toolmaking abilities, and only ever using the best and highest quality materials available, we provide all of our customers with a Free Lifetime Tool Warranty: The only provision is that the tooling and the moulded parts are made by Harvey Precision Tools - that is it!
To clarify; If the tool is designed, made and moulded by us then the tool has no time limit or quantity limit for the lifetime of the parts and products being moulded.
